Week 6: Eagle of the Week - Ali Meagher

This weeks Eagle of the Week goes to freshman, Ali Meagher. Ali’s competiveness has not gone unnoticed by the coaching staff. She has done consistently well in conditioning and has been extremely coachable, listening, applying and working hard in practice. Furthermore, the word from strength coach, Tom Shruhan, is that Ali has not only been steady and consistent in the weight room, but she also recently passed her flexibility tests. Ali’s determination, competitive spirit and strong work ethic will no doubt take her places this year and for years to come! CONGRATULATIONS to Ali and the Maroon Team.

Week 5: Eagle of the Week - Peyton Killeen

This week’s eagle of the week goes to senior, Peyton Killeen. Peyton has really stepped into her role as captain. Throughout fall ball, and more specifically this past week, Peyton has consistently led the team in conditioning and team runs. Moreover, she has pushed her teammates to continue to improve, whether that is in team practices or making sure she gets to them on an individual level. Peyton was a real impact player this past weekend at UNH, making great connections on both the defensive and offensive ends. Her desire to improve, hustle and hard work in practice has translated to her play in our scrimmages. Congratulations to Peyton and the Maroon Team. Keep up the good work!

Week 4: Eagle of the Week - Sheila Serafino

This week’s Eagle of the Week goes to Junior, Sheila Serafino. Sheila’s hard work this summer has truly paid off! Her desire to get better and willingness to improve has been clear. Not only has she been working hard on the practice field, but she has come in to watch individual film, which she clearly applied in the tournament this weekend. Moreover, Sheila’s presence on the field, vocal leadership and work ethic in practice and in games has been a huge reason for our success. It’s something not only the coaching staff has notice, but her teammates have also commented on. Congratulations to Sheila and the GOLD team! Keep up the good work.

Week 3: Eagle of the Week - BROOKE BLUE

For the first time this fall a freshman has earned the Eagle of the week honors! Brooke Blue, of the Maroon team, has had great work ethic throughout the fall ball season and particularly this past week. Moreover, her intensity level in practice and particularly in our scrimmages this past weekend has been quite impressive to the coaching staff! Her coachability, competitiveness, determination and willingness to try new things with teammates have not gone unnoticed.
