Week 13: Eagles of the Week - Jenna McCabe, Lauren Fitzpatrick & Maura Mahoney

Congratulations to the three captains for receiving this weeks Eagle of the week honor. These three individuals have done a tremendous job leading the team throughout the season and, more importantly, have done an exceptional job leading their teammates up to the ACC tournament. They continue to demand the best from their teammates and have done a terrific job of mentally preparing everyone for a crucial game versus Duke. Although, we did not pull through with a win, they did a great job of preparing their teammates on and off the field. They consistently strive for excellence as individuals and continue to push their teammates, as well. Congratulations to Lauren, Jenna & Maura for this week's honor!

Senior Captain Maura Mahoney putting the ball in the back of net (4 for 4) during the UVA game!

Week 10: Eagle of the Week - Maura Mahoney

This week's Eagle of the Week honor goes to senior and captain, Maura Mahoney. This will be her first time receiving the honor. Maura showed true leadership by not only going to individual sessions, but also encouraging the rest of her teammates to do so. Moreover, Maura worked extremely hard in what was one of the tougher practice weeks this season. Her hard work certainly paid off against Virginia. She was 4 for 4 in her shooting, was a vocal leader on the attacking end. Maura worked hard in her re-defending efforts over the course of the week and was a presence in between the lines, causing turnovers not only in practice, but in the game. Congratulations to Maura and her Gold Team!
