Week 9: Eagle of the Week - Liz Donovan
This weeks Eagle of the week goes to freshman, Liz Donovan. This is Liz's second time having receieved the Eagle of the Week honor. Donovan has had the tall task of matching up with both Vermont & UNC’s leading scorers and she certainly rose to the occassion. With great help from the defensive unit, Liz was able to hold both attackers scoreless. Moreover, Liz has consistently been working hard in practice and listening to necessary adjustments given to her by the coaching staff and her peers. Her continued focus and determination has not gone unnoticed. Congratulations to Liz and the maroon team!

Week 8: Eagle of the Week - Emily Hannigan, Margot Spatola & Katie Monaghan
After going 1-1 last week, with a solid outing against #2 Maryland, this weeks Eagle of the Week honor goes to Emily Hannigan, Margot Spatola and Katie Monaghan. This will be the second time all three individuals have earned the honor. Not only did the defense hold Holy Cross to under 10 goals, but they also held the #2 team in the country to their lowest offensive output this season. These three seniors have certainly stepped up on the field and as leaders on the defensive end. Although it was entire defensive and team effort last week, we must commend these three individuals for leading and demanding more from their teammates. Congratulations to Margot, Emily and Katie and to BOTH the Maroon and Gold teams!
